Social-sexual education classes and activities are designed to support people with developmental disabilities relate effectively with others in their community. Seeds instructors tailor the classes to meet the specific needs of each group. For many students, the classes are an introduction to social norms, sexual education, relationships, boundaries, abuse awareness and prevention. The classes and activities provide a safe environment for students to learn, ask questions and practice new skills.
Seeds Educational Services offers many classes throughout San Diego County. Classes are offered both during the day and in the evening to adults with developmental disabilities. These classes are taught in small-to-large group settings and teach socialization, boundaries, abuse awareness, and prevention.
Socialization Events (party events) are offered five times a year to augment skills learned in classes and offer a safe environment for students to practice and offer socialization opportunities.
